Hey guys- I’m moving to Indianapolis and I’m looking for a recommendation for a place to live. Not sure how many roommates or budget, but I’d also like to commute to work and not looking to live anywhere too sketchy! Also, I don’t like traffic. Where do people my age live?
I did not read the sidebar or search any previous posts.
Also, I’m looking for a place to eat by myself or with others! I like most foods but not all! What do you recommend?
I’m unfamiliar with Indianapolis, but am trying to get extended family of approx 25 together. Looking for a restaurant with the following: - lots of seating - where 25 people can linger - plenty of parking - easily accessible to I-65 - Nice area with hotels, shopping, things to do
A Mexican restaurant would probably be great because they’re usually informal, big, and don’t mind if we hang around for a few hours to talk. Thank you fellow Hoosiers in advance for your help!!

Is there anywhere to find a list of addresses of houses that have been renovated on the HGTV show Good Bones? I moved to the area recently and I have some family members who love the show, I’d like to create a little walking tour to take them past some of the houses they’ve seen on tv.
I've been looking at places in the city and I really like the Riley Towers. How are they? Are they well maintained? I heard they've had an elevator down for about a month, which sounds like a nightmare if you live higher up. But the source where I heard that is questionable.
I feel like there was some confusion a couple weeks back about whether or not the Ann Dancing campaign was successful (as they announced at the end of June that they hadn't raised the $200K necessary to move forward with restoration plans).
Just saw this pop up on my Facebook feed. Looks like Ann Dancing is coming back for good! Nice job, Indy! https://www.wthr.com/article/crowdfunding-effort-keep-ann-dancing-raises-nearly-200000?fbclid=IwAR07vbSp-uAl3nlauulPX5IYdEMJMSSF-5nb4hVTISHYFU7xmhfiP_jibPQ
