Indiana / I was followed home

I was followed home

Edit: This occurred near Spades Park.

I was followed home tonight by a late 90s/early 00s dark colored sedan, possibly a Honda Accord. This happened at approximately 10:30pm.

How do I know I was followed you ask? I live in a carriage house which is an apartment over a garage. In order to get to the garage you have to go down a back alley and then turn left down another alley. There are only about 6 other houses that have garages in this portion of the alley. I noticed this car behind me immediately once I got off the highway. I came up to an intersection that had a green light, I proceeded with my right hand turn. The car behind me did not immediately turn right. Instead it slowed down and waited for me to get further ahead. It finally turned right after I was about 500 yards down the road. I then made a left hand turn onto the neighborhood street. The car did the same thing as it did previously. It did not immediately follow but let me get further ahead before making their turn.

This is a tactic I used to use when I was a private investigator doing surveillance on people. It is how you attempt to not get caught following someone. Admittedly I was never the best at it.

Anyways, I turned down the alley way just as the car made their turn onto the neighborhood street. I get down to the portion of the alley where I need to make my turn down the other alley and see the car coming in my rear view mirror. At this point I thought maybe I was crazy and it’s just a coincidence. I proceeded to my driveway and stopped. I look behind me and the car is coming. The car proceeds to stop behind my car. We were both at a stand still. I lock my car and keep it running. I believe he was waiting for me to turn off my car and get out.

Since it was dark out, he couldn’t tell if it was just me in the vehicle or not. He was waiting to see if there were others with me in the car. Fortunately, he didn’t completely block me in. I was able to back out and leave. I made a loop around the alley. The car had only moved about 50 yards further. At that point a neighbor had also turned down the alley and went into their garage. I think the presence of another vehicle scared this person away.

I know for certain this isn’t some kind of crazy coincidence. The car was not driving like a normal person would drive. This person was not lost. Their intentions were clear. I believe they randomly picked me to follow to see if they would have an opportunity at committing a crime. If you believe you are ever being followed call 911. Do not get out of the car.

It might just be time to get a CPL.

Distant restaurants

I’m looking for recommendations for restaurants that are not in Indianapolis, but are within 1 hour of Indy. A scenic spot would be great. The best restaurant in a small town would be great. I’d like to take a nice drive with my girlfriend and end up somewhere we’ve never been. Any ideas, r/Indianapolis ?

Indiana / Alt 103 morning show

Alt 103 morning show

Real quick on me and my radio experience.

Im in my late 20s and since college ive had bluetooth and or an aux cable. Never had to listen to morning radio for like 10ish years. I hate the radio with tons of ads and usual repetitive songs that are popular.

However

My current job we have radios and typically its on 93.9, awesome radio station btw, i actually enjoy it.

But for some reason today it was set on alt 103.3 lol and they have this ridiculous annoying morning talk show now lol i used to hate q95 bc of bob and tom in the mornings. I get some people enjoy bob and tom and occasionally i like what they do having comedians on whatever.

But this alt 103 morning show is extremely cringey and im slowly getting a headache from it.

Idk felt like posting this to reddit bc everyone at my job hates it. Apparently its been a thing for a minute.

Like i said i made an old rock radio on spotify called Satans Radio and ive never listened to radio unless im using a rental car or something.

93.9 rocks highly recommend it over alt 103

However they do overplay some new remix of blue on black. Lol both versions are meh imo. I joke its about Carolina panthers training camp

How was your commute on the Red Line today?

Did anybody take the Red Line to work this morning? I'm wondering if IndyGo got a handle on the buses actually being on time now that they aren't packed with people touring. I don't mind if it takes me a while to get home in the evening, but obviously it would be nice to know if the early morning buses are working on time.
