Arkansas / Recommend Greenbrier?

Recommend Greenbrier?

My family and I have lived in the city for a few years now and it may be age but I’m just about done with it. We have been looking at possible destinations for a couple years now and I’m amazed to say - I just may end up moving back to Arkansas.

Basically I’m just wanting some scoop on the Greenbrier area, what’s it like what’s the perks and the downfalls. We plan on seeing the area soon but I figured I’d ask for some info as well. We are business owners, early 30s homeowners with no mortgage. My kids go to a great school currently and are in a top-rated school system, and education is very important to me. I know Greenbrier has one of the top rated schools in the state but what else can y’all tell me about it? Football town? I’m aware that the town is above 90% white, is this one of the towns that like to keep it that way? Any hidden gems to eat at? Any help and/or insight is greatly appreciated!

Fishing In NWA Area

Do any fellow fishermen know of good spots to try out bank fishing? I just started to get into the hobby and don't know where to fish at.

Arkansas / 2nd Annual Almyra Arts & Crafts Festival

2nd Annual Almyra Arts & Crafts Festival

I host an Arts & Crafts Festival allowing Arkansan's to sell their crafts! We do charge $20 for an inside booth, $10 for an outside booth (the city makes me pay for the community center). The money we raise from this goes towards the community center fee and the rest will go towards decor for Almyra. Last year it went towards candy for the Treats in the Streets we host every year. I do not keep any of the money, it goes straight the the city's treasurer.

It is completely free entry to anyone who wants to shop around and have fun. Last year was a blast and we are counting on this years to be even better!

If you would like to host a booth we do have a facebook page or you can message me on here to get the link to the app and more info!

We are allowing 8 nonhandmade booths this year. This includes nonprofits, small businesses (like car, mechanic, etc.) to advertise their business. Cost is the same.

Hope to hear from you! I want it to be even bigger than last year! I am trying to build up this small town and new decorations is going to be a huge help.
